"Service" refers to the care services, programmes, and website provided by Kinsfolk. "User" refers to any individual who accesses our website or enquires about our services. "We", "Us", "Our" refers to Kinsfolk, located at 23 Clementi Avenue 1, Singapore 129956. "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of our website and services. Kinsfolk provides elderly care services in Singapore, including Family-Style Residential Care, Flexible Respite Care, and the Intergenerational Connection Programme. Service availability may vary depending on capacity and the specific needs of the individual seeking care. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services with reasonable notice.

4. User Responsibilities

When using our website, you agree to: provide accurate and truthful information in any forms or communications, use the website for lawful purposes only, refrain from attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems, and not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without written permission.

5. Care Service Terms

Admission: All admissions are subject to an assessment to determine suitability and care needs. Kinsfolk reserves the right to decline admission where we are unable to meet an individual's specific care requirements safely.

Care Plans: An individual care plan is developed for each resident in consultation with the resident and their family. Care plans are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted based on changing needs.

Respite Bookings: Respite stays are subject to availability. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled arrival may incur a fee equivalent to one night's stay.

Programme Participation: Participation in the Intergenerational Connection Programme is subject to ongoing availability and suitability assessment.

6. Payment Terms

Service fees are as published on our website or as communicated during the enquiry process. Residential care fees are billed monthly in advance. Respite care fees are payable prior to or upon arrival. Programme fees are billed monthly. All fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Late payments may be subject to a reminder and, if unresolved, may affect continued provision of services. We will always communicate with families before taking any action regarding unpaid fees.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design elements — is the property of Kinsfolk or its licensors and is protected under Singapore intellectual property law. You are granted a non-transferable right to access and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without our written consent.

8. Disclaimers

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the care service arrangement with 30 days' written notice. Kinsfolk may terminate services with shorter notice if there is a material breach of these terms, if we can no longer safely meet the individual's care needs, or if fees remain unpaid after reasonable attempts to resolve the matter. Upon termination, we will assist with the transition to alternative care arrangements where possible.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith discussion between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, either party may refer the matter to mediation through the Singapore Mediation Centre. The courts of Singapore shall have jurisdiction for any disputes that cannot be resolved through mediation.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Kinsfolk harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of our website or services.

13. General Provisions

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kinsfolk regarding the use of our website and services. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to do so in the future. We may assign our rights under these terms to a successor entity.
